‘Fast & Furious 7’ New Premiere Date Behind Lots of Issues: Paul Walker’s Death and Vin Diesel lockdown

Fast and Furious 7 can't come any faster with its previous premiere date set on April 10 next year, production has rerouted its way and decided on a much earlier date. Shooting gave a wrap despite problems coming from the main cast: Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.

The seventh installment of the fast racing car world of adventure has finally wrapped its shooting and is set to premiere on April 03, 2015, according to Screenrant. Universal Studios have decided to push the sequel of the film earlier as it will give them more opportunity to book more 'international playdates", reports The Hollywood Reporter.

This latest installment of the Fast & Furious was set to debut on summer of 2014 as reported by The Hollywood Report. They have set photography by September 2013. Yet the filming was put off due to the fatal car crash death of the movie's lead star, Paul Walker, last 30th of November 2013. Walker gave life to the character of Brian O'Connor in the film. Screenrant reports that director James Wan along with the producers had to revise the script in order to give O'Connor a death that is worthy of his character. In order to resume the production last April, body doubles were taken to finish Walker's character through the help of his siblings Cody and Caleb.

The death of their co-star and friend left a saddened feeling to the entire cast, especially to Vin Diesel. According to the issue of The Hollywood Reporter, the death of Walker was not the sole reason for the production slowdown but Vin Diesel also played a part in it. Since Walker's death, Diesel was perceived to be uncooperative and would often seen in a lockdown inside his trailer. This alleged behavior was seen to be as one of the cast's display of low morale for what happened. But such issues were disregarded by Universal Studios Chairman, Donna Langley. "This production is working through some challenges that are historically unprecedented. The crew and cast, led by Vin, have been nothing but terrific under these circumstances." Langley confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.

With all that has happened, fans are truly excited to learn that the movie is set to premiere in April next year.
