A YouTube channel linked to Luigi Mangione, the alleged shooter of UnitedHealthcare's CEO Brian Thompson last week, posted a cryptic countdown in the hours following his arrest in Pennsylvania on Monday.
The video, entitled "The Truth," opened with a black-and-white 5-second countdown followed by a 60-second countdown. The top of the clock read "The Truth" while the bottom half stated, "If you see this, I'm already under arrest."
"All is scheduled, be patient. Bye for now," the last image read, with "Soon..." in the bottom right corner.

The account was created on Jan. 20, 2024, and its "About" section included known details about Mangione, including his age, 26, and bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.
Within two hours of his arrest at an Altoona, Pennsylvania-area McDonald's, the video had more than 5,000 views and over 1,000 comments with people offering guessing as to what comes next and commenting on Mangione's alleged assassination.
"You know we're cooked as a society when assassins communicate with us through scheduled Youtube videos," one user commented.
"Absolutely no shot YouTube will allow the next video to see the light of day," another speculated.
"If this is a crypto launch announcement I'm gonna lose my mind," one user joked.
"There is no right or left! Only the rich oppressed and the poor oppressed! We have no compassion. When our turn comes, we shall not make excuses for the terror," another commented.
It has not been confirmed that Mangione created the account, and social media users pointed out the profile picture was updated to the trending photo of Mangione smiling with a McDonald's Happy Meal.
Regardless, thousands have already subscribed to the channel.
