Authorities are investigating a flurry of possible tips and rumors in response to an Ohio teen who was found dead under "suspicious circumstances."

Trentin Isaac, 16, of Mansfield, Ohio vanished Nov. 12, according to police, who admitted "there are more questions than answers at this point" upon the discovery of the teen's remains in Harrison County, Ohio earlier this week.

"The family and community can be assured that the division will work diligently to not only answer these questions, but also bring justice to the individuals who committed this act," police said in a statement, without elaborating on a manner of death, possible suspects, or motive.

Earlier in the investigation, authorities announced detectives were looking into "numerous unverified tips and rumors concerning videos and social media posts allegedly related to Trentin's disappearance," however "no such evidence" had been submitted to police at that point.

Authorities are urging people with any information to come forward.

Trentin "was cherished by so many" loved ones, according to a GoFundMe aimed at defraying costs in preparation for his Nov. 30 funeral service. "His warmth and presence touched everyone who knew him, and his passing has left an unimaginable void in all our lives."
