An Indiana man is facing multiple charges, including "battery by bodily waste" after allegedly urinating on a police officer during his arrest following a car accident.
Tyrelle Hunt, of Evansville, was arrested Monday morning after allegedly crashing his SUV into a home's front yard and failing a field sobriety test.
After being taken to a nearby hospital for medical clearance, he became erratic, leading to further charges for his aggressive conduct towards police and hospital staff, 14 News reported.
Hunt, 30, reportedly became belligerent at the hospital, using racial slurs and attempting to kick and spit at officers.
During a struggle, police say an officer's pants were ripped and "soiled by Hunt's urine," leading to the battery by bodily waste charge.
Hunt was taken to the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center, where he is currently being held without bond.
He faces several charges, including battery on a public safety official, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, criminal mischief, and resisting law enforcement.
