Former Democratic lawmaker Bakari Sellers is not only magnifying calls for 70-year-old Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to retire but also "floating" that Kamala Harris take her seat.

"Not only am I floating it, I want to stir everything," Sellers said during a CNN appearance on Friday. "I want people's heads to explode so we go into the weekend just knowing the chaos has not ended."

While discussing Justice Sotomayor's future on the court and conceding the likelihood of the 70-year-old retiring during president-elect Donald Trump's term to be "extremely high," former South Carolina Rep. Sellers reminded viewers that Harris has a

"One more thing, John, is you have a helluva vice president who has a legal pedigree to sit on the Supreme Court, and let Republicans go crazy by even mentioning that option," he started before expanding on his aim to create more chaos.

Currently, there is a six-justice majority of Republican appointees in the current Supreme Court, and Trump is likely to appoint another conservative if Justice Samuel Alito, 74, the most conservative judge on the bench, retires during the upcoming presidential term, a likely possibility.
