NBI and Profiscience Announce Partnership for CLE Legal Training

By

The National Business Institute (NBI) has announced its partnership with the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) platform, Profiscience. The two aim to provide legal professionals like attorneys, paralegals, and law firm managers with the convenience of online learning and a host of resources to complete their required CLE hours for their state.

The website can track and manage users' progress, ensuring professionals are receiving sufficient education.

How CLE Content and New Tech Offer a Simple Experience

NBI has been a leader in the CLE space for over 40 years, offering practical legal training to attorneys so they can complete required state credits and apply their knowledge to their practices. Profiscience tailors courses to the users' needs and interests, making it easier than ever for professionals to complete training.

Attorneys can access over 1,000 approved courses, meaning they can explore their interests while earning necessary state hours.

Continuing legal education is required in 46 of the 50 states. If attorneys do not complete these required training hours, the state bar may not allow them to practice law. Profiscience, an online learning management system, assists in this because it is designed to track someone's educational progress online.

Profiscience's platform, CLESite, integrates NBI's content while offering tracking, reporting, and managing the user's progress on the site in real time. The platform allows legal professionals to take these online courses while ensuring they are meeting their required credits and paying attention to the content. CLESite also alerts users if they are at risk of not completing training in time, ensuring they meet their requirements.

Simplified CLE Compliance for Attorneys and Paralegals

There are now over 1,000 pre-approved on-demand CLE courses available on Profiscience's CLESite platform. Professionals have a host of accessible resources to complete their training and beyond.

Paralegals can also benefit from the CLE courses offered on the CLESite because the NBI has also integrated the NBI's Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE). This allows paralegals to meet their required training, which is different from attorneys' courses. The entire law firm can receive the necessary training through one platform.

The integration of NBI and Profiscience gives attorneys and paralegals the opportunity to complete their credits while accommodating their busy work schedules by offering online courses. Industry professionals can now access, track, and manage their CLE credits all in one platform, reducing the complexities of compliance with state regulations.

NBI and Profiscience eliminates the need to switch platforms for professionals to complete their training. Credit-approved courses are accessible at any time, allowing users to earn on their own schedule.

"We want to make compliance as easy as possible for individuals and managers, and the Profiscience CLESite portal excels at guiding users to the right courses based on their specific needs," said NBI President Allison Schindler.

Profiscience CEO Michael Barshinger says, "Considering the breadth of NBI's compliance catalog and our technology integration, this partnership allows us to provide a one-stop shop. I'm really excited for Profiscience users."

The Future of Legal Training and Compliance Management

By offering a streamlined approach to CLE, the partnership between the NBI and Profiscience gives legal professionals access to practical online training. The companies aim to simplify the process of meeting state requirements while offering high-quality education.
