PornHub discourages users to stop uploading videos of Brazil losing to Germany on its site

FIFA might have not seen this coming. Despite the world soccer body's stance on anti-piracy, it appears that scenes from its most talked about tournament match have been uploaded by fans on an adult site, the Internatonal Business Times reported. PornHub has since issued a statement on its official Twitter account to urge its users to stop uploading footage from the tragic match between Brazil and Germany, which had unfolded on Tuesday in Belo Horizonte not primarily because of non-relation to its main content.

In its July 8 tweet, Pornhub Katie wrote, "Please stop uploading the game highlights to Pornhub... Our public humiliation category is full. #BrazilvsGermany"

Although it remains to be confirmed whether the said categorization does exists on the website, it has been noted that the video that could have spurred PornHub into action has already been flagged and removed from the website. The video clip, which is titled "Young Brazilians get f**ked by entire German soccer team" by a user, shows members of the German side celebrating after Toni Kross scored their team's fourth goal within the first half.

On the other hand, PornHub's Twitter reaction to the video might be a smart, classy way to comply with FIFA's position about piracy of its games. Earlier, one of the world soccer body's main sponsors, Sony, has received an Indian High Court cease-and-desist order that would force ISPs in the country to block several Web sites for its television network unit, including popular pirate sites Mega.co.nz and the Pirate Bay, IBTimes said. The legal action is a testament to FIFA's aggressive stance to curb illegal streaming or procurement of copyrighted broadcast material for business purposes.

The Indian judge who had ruled in favor of Sony Television wrote, "[Web sites] listed below, or any other Web site identified by the plaintiff are restrained, from in any manner hosting, streaming, broadcasting, rebroadcasting, retransmitting, exhibiting, making available for viewing and downloading, providing access to and / or communicating to the public, displaying, uploading, modifying, publishing, updating and/or sharing (including to its subscribers and users), through the internet, in any manner whatsoever."
