A Chicago man appeared to be all smiles for his mugshot after he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

The Chicago Police Department charged Ashanti Randolph, 29, with first-degree murder and aggravated assault/discharge of a firearm/motor vehicle.

Randolph was arrested Monday after police said he was identified as the suspect who shot and killed a 34-year-old man on Sept. 1 in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, as reported by WGN.

The 29-year-old was taken into custody without incident. The victim has not yet been identified, as reported by FOX 32.

No additional details about the shooting have been given.
