A naked Florida man allegedly terrorized a quiet neighborhood, choking a 7-year-old girl on a trampoline before fleeing and slashing an elderly man, according to authorities.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to a scene of a naked man jumping a fence at a home around 4:00 p.m.

The little girl was playing on a trampoline when Yoan Gonzalez Vazquez allegedly put her in a chokehold.

The girl's mother, along with neighbors, witnessed the frightening incident and were able to rescue her.

"I can't imagine the terror this mother must have felt as she watched a violent man lay hands on her child," said Chad Chronister, Hillsborough County Sheriff.

"The bravery shown by her and the neighbors who intervened to rescue this girl is heroic."

Vasquez then fled but was found soon after hiding under a porch in another backyard.

Law enforcement discovered him hiding under a porch in the backyard of an 81-year-old man who stabbed, reported CBS12.

The 81-year-old was transported to an area hospital and is currently being treated for his injuries.
