A teenage girl who stabbed two teachers while in class had a 'sinister look' in her eyes as she said "oopsies" to police.

The attempted murder trial is now underway at a court in South Wales.

The 14-year-old, who was 13 at the time, attacked teachers Fiona Elias and Liz Hopkin, as well as a student whose name has not been publicly released.

"I stabbed her — oopsies," the girl reportedly said after stabbing the student, prosecutor William Hughes KC told the court on Monday.

Elias, who is head of the school, claims the girl had a "sinister look" in her eyes as she toyed with an object in her pocket, according to Hughes as reported by Law and Crime.

"Do you want to see what's in my pocket?" the girl allegedly asked before drawing her knife and attacking Elias.

She then shouted, "I'm going to kill you; I'm going to kill you," repeatedly as she swung the knife before dropping it and picking it up again to do the same to Hopkins and the unnamed student.

"That's one way to be a celebrity," she said to officers while sitting in a police car, according to The Guardian.

"I'm pretty sure this is going to be on the news so more eyes are going to be looking at me," she reportedly went on.

Hopkin was wounded in her leg, chest, shoulder and neck, while Elias was struck in her arm and hand.

The student who was attacked suffered non-threatening injuries to her arm.
