Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin is calling those who are not sharing credible information with authorities on the Alabama mass shooting last week just as responsible as the shooters themselves.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Woodfin, along with other city leaders, took to the podium to update the public on the tragic shooting that occurred last weekend.

If you have credible information and are not sharing it with law enforcement, Woodfin passionately stated that "you are as responsible" as the people who did the shooting, according to WVTM13.

The mayor emphasized the importance of safety and the well-being of Birmingham's residents as a top priority while addressing the community's concerns and frustrations as the shooters have yet to be identified.

On Monday, the FBI Crime Tip hotline and Crime Stoppers announced a joint $100,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Woodfin assured the public that they can remain anonymous and have the option to enter the witness protection program.
