A Florida man was allegedly shot to death in a Mexican restaurant during a dispute over another man's jukebox song choice, reports say.

Loved ones identified the victim as Socorro Camacho, according to WFOR-TV.

Frequent patron Mauro Bonilla said witnesses told him Camacho insulted the shooter inside Antojitos Mexicanos around 1:30 a.m. Monday, teasing, "You're not a real Mexican if you play that music."

The confrontation at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, eatery quickly turned deadly.

"The guy who got insulted pulled his weapon and started shooting... the other guy; didn't give him a chance," said Bonilla.

The shooter fled and remains on the lam.

"The only thing I can say is that I want police to apprehend the suspect because right now, there's nothing else we can do," the victim's brother said, according to WSVN-TV.

Authorities are working to identify the gunman.
