The Hell's Angels biker gang is pouring cold water over the 'absolutely ridiculous' rumors about a looming confrontation with Venezuelan gangs in Colorado.
Unsubstantiated claims circulating on anonymous far-right social media have suggested that the Angels are gearing up for a showdown with Venezuelan gangs, but the only thing they're fighting back against are the false notions.
In a statement posted on Instagram,the Colorado charter of Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC) denies the "foundation and validity of these absolutely ridiculous and false claims." The statement goes on to say the club doesn't get involved in political issues outside of motorcycling and does not take a stance on immigration or the presidential election.
Millions of users on X and TikTok posted and reposted content during the weekend claiming that hundreds of Hells Angels bikers were on their way to Aurora, Colorado, to confront Venezuelan gang members who got a foothold in cities in the state.

The buzz on social media has ignited a frenzy of speculation following viral videos claiming that the bikers were en route to confront the Tren de Aragua gang.
However, the videos used as "proof" didn't actually show the Hells Angels or had been taken months prior, according to 9NEWS. One video from July shows motorcyclists participating in an Insanos Motorcycle Club event in Brazil, while the other video is from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Despite its fake origin, the videos garnered millions of views, even prompting conservative influencers and elected officials such as Colorado Republican State Rep. Ryan Armagost to reshare the posts. "Social media rumors like this only serve to perpetuate a false and irresponsible narrative about the HAMC for the sole purpose of driving traffic and click,." their statement continued.
City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky and other Republicans in Aurora have been promoting the narrative that the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua is overtaking apartment complexes in the city, a claim that has now attracted national attention.
In an interview with the news outlet, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston stated the situation is being grossly exaggerated.
