Bodycam footage from a Miami Beach police officer captured the moment a man jumped into her police car and demanded that she drive.

Last Tuesday, roughly before 12:30pm, a man with mental health issues jumped into the marked car between Fifth Street and Lennox Avenue.

The officer, who was on routine patrol, deployed her taser seven times for fear of her life, and then a Miami-Dade Schools police officer jumped in to help.

The officer detailed in her report, "My vehicle was still on, with the engine running. I was concerned that the subject would climb into the driver's seat and attempt to drive away. It should be noted that we were 100 feet away from South Pointe Elementary," reported Local 10 News.

She explained that after the second Taser cycle, she told the subject to get out of the vehicle, but he instead yelled, "'I'm on the floor!'" and again refused to remove himself, which resulted in another Taser cycle.

She went to say she lost partial view of the man's body following the seventh Taser cycle and was unable to reach across her vehicle, so she cycled her Taser once more to place the subject in custody.

When finally escorted out of the vehicle, the man asked officers if they were eating pretzels and claimed to be from a reality TV show before requesting officers to notify Oprah Winfrey.

Police stated the suspect was Baker Acted, a Florida law that allows for temporary detention and emergency mental health services for individuals who may have a mental illness.
