A letter from a school co-worker of Sandra Birchmore has come to light, revealing that Birchmore had predicted her death at the hands of a former police officer over her pregnancy in a chilling warning that left the co-worker "sick to her stomach" when they found out about her death.

During a conversation between the co-workers, Birchmore told them that should something ever happen to her, there is only one person responsible, former officer Matthew Farwell.

When suggesting she file a restraining order, Birchmore declined, citing he knew too many higher-up people and it wouldn't do any good.

The co-worker states she reached out to officials to report Birchmore's fear and concern over the situation after the teacher's assistant confided in them.

In return, they said, school officials promised to designate proper guidance to get Birchmore the appropriate help; however, they did not follow through.

Following the news of her death, the colleague expressed that they felt "sick" to their stomach and hope that justice will be served for both Birchmore and her family.

The letter, received on Wednesday, was published to X by Kirk Minihane, who runs an investigative podcast series.

It was Wednesday afternoon that Matthew Farwell, a 38-year-old former police officer, was arrested for the alleged murder of Birchmore.

Birchmore, who was three months pregnant at the time, was found dead in 2021. Although her death was initially ruled a suicide, a pathologist hired by her family determined it was actually a homicide, according to the Boston Globe.

The indictment accuses Farwell of killing a witness or victim. It claims that he strangled her on or around February 1, 2021, and "staged" her apartment in Canton "to make it appear as if Birchmore had committed suicide," the Globe also revealed.
