Apple Rolls Out Third Public Beta Of iOS 10.3 For iPhone & iPad

Developers can now seed the third public beta version of iOS 10.3 as Apple has officially rolled out the upcoming major software upgrade for testing. This is released after its second public beta version was shipped off just two weeks ago.

MacRumors has reported that registered developers can now download the third iOS 10.3 beta. This can be downloaded via over-the-air with the proper configuration profile installed or from the Apple Development Center.

According to the same news outlet, iOS 10.3 is deemed to be a significant upgrade among its predecessors. It is scheduled to introduce vital features such as the new consumer-facing feature "Find My Airpods" that is developed to aid users to locate their AirPods that are prone to slippage. The new feature will also allow consumers to record the last known location of the lost earphone. The accessory should be connected to an iOS device through Bluetooth in order to maximize its function. Meanwhile, "Find My AirPods" will also enable its users to play a sound on AirPods whenever they get misplaced.

iOS 10. 3 is also slated to introduce a voluminous amount of features and game-changing add ons. These include the ability of Siri to learn cricket scores from Indian Premier League and International Cricket Council and Safari's support on Reduced Motion preference in web apps. It will also include a new prominent user security section in Settings and a new Apple File System.

In addition, iOS 10. 3 will also be equipping its podcasts app with widget like Music app which also has the similar design. Meanwhile, a new system level way for developers to request app rating has been added along with a 3D Touch forecast on weather data in Maps app.

9To5Mac has also shared that iOS 10.3 is going to feature add ons on its CarPlay functionality. These will include a quick access to the last three used apps for quick switching without having to access the Home Screen. Users will also see a quick access to albums from songs in Music and a new "Up Next" screen.
