Lindsay Lohan Determined to Make 'Mean Girls 2' Happen

Many may have seen the infamous trailer of "Mean Girls 2" on YouTube. Although many believe there should be no sequel to the legendary movie, Lindsay Lohan begs to differ. The actress is going hard on the plan of making that movie.

The first movie was released in 2004 and featured Lohan as Cady Heron, Rachel McAdams as Regina George and Amanda Seyfried as Karen Smith. Up until now, teenagers and little girls idolize the movie. It is considered to be a legend as the movie's inside jokes are still a thing.

The unforgettable plot with its fabulous humor is still recruiting fans to this day, and Lindsay is hoping that the story does not end with the Mean Girls being flattened by a bus. Monday morning dawned with Lohan on The View and EOnline reports her words:

"I went to visit SNL yesterday and Lorne Michaels was there. I was like harassing her, because we have to do this." She also added that if Tina Fey did not have the required time to dedicate, then Lohan said she would "write the treatment" herself.

The 30 year old singer and actress seems to really want this happen even though many critics state that it's just another way of reviving her dead career. But that does not seem to be the matter as the star is currently focusing on a new project called Nerd.

Not to mention has picked up a few valuable tips on staying happy, healthy and drug free in the spotlight without breaking down. On top of that Sara Haines a Mean Girls costar, also voiced her agreement on the movie's sequel.

Celeb Buzz quotes Sara's explanation: "A sequel should definitely happen. The timing is great and the movie will surface when everything is hunky dory." She also called the film a "cult movie" and said that it was spectacular. Lindsay followed that up with saying that she is aspiring to make her own movies. "I do not want to keep having answers for everyone. I just want to be focused on my job and surround myself with valuable people."

It appears like the inspirational beauty has finally found her footing in the world of stars and fame.
