Former Detroit Lions of Stanley Wilson II was arrested in Woodburn, Oregon. He was reported by his neighbor to behave erratically and took his clothes off. This was his third incident related to his peculiar behavior.
Police received the call at 2:09 p.m. from the neighbor who reported Wilson’s peculiar behavior, The Oregonian reported. Wilson drove to the residence and approached the neighbor who stood by the garage. He later acted erratically according to the neighbor so he closed his garage door and went inside.
Wilson tried to enter the neighbor’s house from both front and back doors unsuccessfully. He also took off his clothes as he tried to enter the house. When police arrived, he was seen nude coming from the backyard of his neighbor’s house.
He was being cooperative with the police and soon taken into custody. Wilson was placed to the Marion County Jail and booked on several charges according to police spokeperson Jason Horton, Denver Post reported.
This incident is the third one after the first in June last year in Portland, when a homeowner shot him as he tried to enter the house naked. The second one was in January when he was found to strip naked in front of the house in Portland.
The 34-year old was found positive on methamphetamines after his first incident. While in his second incident, arresting police officer found him to be high on drugs.
On court, judge sentenced him to 10 days in jail and ordered him to have drug rehabilitation. He was also ordered to pay restitution for the damage he made to the house and to write an a letter of apology.
His father, Stanley Wilson was also an NFL player whose career was cut short due to his addiction to cocaine. Wilson senior was suspended two times for violating NFL drug policy in his five years of career in the league. While Wilson junior had a much shorter career, playing only two years for the Lions.
