Nokia 3310 To Be Re-launched At MWC 2017; Price And Other Features Revealed

By

Mobile World Congress 2017 will bring back one of the most well-loved and durable mobile phone in history, the Nokia 3310. It will be marketed as a reliable second phone for those who have fond of memories of it the first time around.

The Independent reported that the Nokia 3310 will be sold for just €59. Best remembered as the most resilient phone in history, the 3310 will be sold as a way of getting lots of juice in its nearly indestructible body. The phone is still sold in Amazon but only through its marketplace and not on the website itself.

Released in the year 2000, the Nokia 3310 was loaded with features such as a clock, calculator, the ability to store up to ten reminders and four games namely Pairs II, Space Impact II, Bantumi, and the highly popular Snake II. The game was so popular that it can still be downloaded by iPhone, Android, and Windows phone users. Its launch that year ushered in the dawn of the modern age of mobiles.

The Nokia 3310 was packed with a bevy of features that gave it a reputation as the most resilient and durable phone ever-made. It was so durable that people even tested it by crushing it in a hydraulic press.

Marketing Edge confirmed that Nokia found difficulty into the smartphone era and was eventually sold to Microsoft. To achieve success, it manufactured new versions of old phones, such as the Nokia 215, which costs $29 and last for 29 days.

Metro News NG revealed that Nokia phones are now being sold by HMD Global, a Finnish company which acquired the rights to the Nokia name. HMD will launch three new phones-Nokia 3,5, and 6 in the same event. These phones will be similar to smartphones but will still have the same low price.
