Justin Bieber shows attitude against lawyer in deposition for papparazzo assault case

By

A series of video clips from Justin Bieber's deposition has been published by celebrity news website TMZ, CNN said. The videos showed the pop star answering questions for the deposition a Miami-based judge had ordered for the assault case filed against him and his bodyguard by a photographer who claimed to have been attacked last summer upon Bieber's orders.

The first few moments of the video, Bieber appeared to have been mocking the legal proceedings by primping and winking at the camera at most times. However, CNN observed that Bieber became hostile when the plaintiff's lawyer began to ask him questions about his on-and-off girlfriend, singer and actress Selena Gomez.

Miami lawyer Mark DiCowden was told by Bieber at least six times while wagging his finger, "Don't ask me about her again."

DiCowden also asked Bieber about his connection with Usher and his beginnings as a pop star. Bieber reportedly dissed DiCowden, and even compared his line of questioning to that of noted news anchor Katie Couric.

Bieber's lawyer also had difficulty containing his client's presumed fire at the plaintiff's legal camp as CNN said he had to remind his client to give him a chance to object on his behalf in court. The pop star also showed his displeasure with the court proceedings when a court reporter who had been transcribing his answers commented that she cannot hear Bieber's remarks.

"'Yes' and 'no' are f--king pretty different," Bieber retorted at the court reports.

When asked by CNN about Bieber's outburst at the deposition, lawyers for both sides had refused to comment.

Aside from the assault charges filed by photographer Jeffrey Binion, CNN said Bieber is also facing a similar charge in Toronto and a DUI charge in a Miami court. Moreover, a decision about filing a vandalism case against the "Believe" singer will be decided soon by a Los Angeles prosecutor, the news agency added.
