Lady Gaga Super Bowl 2017 Performance Will Be Followed By Grammy Awards Collaboration With Metallica

Lady Gaga Super Bowl 2017 performance certainly raised some eyebrows and the singer is ready to top that off by performing alongside Metallica at the Grammy's. Rumors about the collaboration surfaced after a Lady Gaga fan site tweeted a promotional clip.

According to RollingStone, those rumors are now confirmed by The Recording Academy. The 30-year-old singer takes center stage at the Grammy Awards this Sunday.

She will perform together with legendary rock group Metallica following the successful Lady Gaga Superbowl 2017 performance. However, it's still unclear if Gaga will sing to a Metallica song, have Metallica play one of her songs or if both will be covering a classic song instead.

The scenario of Lady Gaga and Metallica coming up with a new song together doesn't seem too far-fetched as well. Considering the fact that both Gaga and Metallica are used to impromptu performances, they might even do a mash-up combination of their songs.

Gaga herself just wrapped up a stellar performance during the Super Bowl 2017 half time. Despite the fact that Gaga received criticisms to her figure, that did not stop her from keeping her head up and coming back with an even better performance on the Grammy's.

"I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours", Gaga says via Instagram as a response to her critics. A little body shaming certainly does not seem to be hurting the Grammy Award-winning singer, let alone her rise to success.

According to Cnet, the Lady Gaga Superbowl 2017 half time segment resulted in a significant increase in the singer's digital album sales. In a span of a 13-minute performance, Gaga's digital song sales skyrocketed on that day.

The sales of just one song alone is enough to signify how successful Gaga's half time segment is. Gaga's latest track "Million Reasons" had over 45,000 downloads following the Lady Gaga Super Bowl 2017 performance. Expect her to give an encore performance at the Grammy Awards 2017 this Sunday.
