'One Piece Backstory ‘Ace’ to be Written by ‘Durarara!!’ Author Ryohgo Narita

The "One Piece" backstory of Luffy's brother Ace will be written by another brilliant author Ryohgo Narita, the same person who wrote the manga "Durarara!!." Shonen Jump teased that the Ace backstory will be part of the 20th anniversary year of One Piece.

The next One Piece backstory will focus on the birth of Ace, his departure from Mt. Colubo, formation of Spade Pirates, his encounter with Jinbei, and his challenge against Whitebeard which led to his coming under his wing. There could be also some details about the Pirate King Gol D. Roger, Ace's biological father.

Narita is a famed manga artist which also wrote the tie-in of "Bleach" with "Spirits Are Forever With You" back in 2012. Another writing of his will come this spring of 2017 about Shuhei Hisagi aside from the said One Piece backstory of Ace, as reported by Crunchyroll News.

As for the main storyline of One Piece, the Whole Cake Island Arc is reaching its climax as the Strawhats are slowly taking the upper hand against the formidable family of Big Mom. On One Piece 854, Big Mom and Pudding has no idea that Sanji already know about their evil plans. Also, Big Mom's children thought that they have ridden against all the Strawhats unbeknownst all of them are safe and free.

Another intriguing part of the latest One Piece chapter was Brook's ability to land injuries against Big Mom's most powerful homies. Though Brook lost in the end, it gives a silver lining that Luffy may actually stand a chance against Big Mom after all. It's yet to know how Brook will escape from Big Mom's crutches.

Whatever might happen to Reijuu is still in question. But hopefully she can come with the Strawhats in the end, adding up a temporary, if not a permanent boost in the Strawhats line-up aiming for One Piece.

Luffy went back to the place where he would meet Sanji, and so is Sanji himself ended up running to Luffy's place because he knows that their captain is someone who keeps his word no matter what. For the next One Piece chapter, readers can expect a tear-jerking reunion between the two nakamas.
