A "Cheeto" shaped like Harambe is up for auction on eBay. The item is described by the seller on eBay as "one of a kind."
According to a report in Evening Standard, the flaming hot "Cheeto" is shaped like the gorilla Harambe that have been shot in May last year. Harambe has been shot right after a child of four years climbed up its cage at the Cincinnati Zoo.
The highest bid as of the moment for the "Cheeto" on eBay is at $99,900. The price does not include the bag and other chips but the Harambe shaped "Cheeto" itself. It is free shipping to whoever gets the merchandise.
A report in Cleveland indicates that in less than an hour 132 bids are given to the "Cheeto." It can be recalled that in 2004, a grilled cheese sandwich with the image of the Virgin Mary was on sale. However, the bid for the Harambe shaped "Cheeto" this time has a higher price than that of the grilled cheese sandwich. The same report indicates though that there is no way to know if the bidders are serious.
Meanwhile, IBTimes reports that the bid ends on Tuesday 3:45 a.m. Est. Once the bid ends the seller will be $99,999 richer with the unique merchandise sold. The eBay user named valuestampsinc started the bid for the "Cheeto" for only $11.99.
There has been previously bid merchandise that is unique same as the "Cheeto" that resembles Harambe. The toast that had the Virgin Mary on it made the owner of the account earn a lot of money right after the bid ended.
Jeannie Cho, the vice-president of marketing for Frito-Lay once shared that "Cheetos" are like clouds. The shape of each piece of this snack can give the person a creative imagination. There are different forms derived from each piece.
In the meantime, the "Cheeto" shaped like Harambe is still up for the bid.
