'The Space Between Us' Release Date Confirmed, Storyline Discussed

The romantic sci-fi film, The Space Between Us, opens in theatres this, Feb. 3, 2017 on Friday. The film displays the astonishing love story of Gardner Elliot, played by Asa Butterfield, who is a teenage boy from Mars and Tulsa, played by Britt Robertson, who is a teenage girl from Earth.

The movie is directed by none other than Peter Chelsom. As reported by Just Jared Jr, the character Gardner depicts a child born on Mars who develops an online friendship with the character Tulsa, a girl from Earth. In the movie, Gardner is thrilled to visit Earth.

In a newly released clip of the movie, Gardner is seen mesmerized by Tulsa and unable to pry his keen eyes off of her. The clip displays teenage budding romance despite the fact that both character comes from different planets.

The major twist in the movie comes when scientists discover that Gardner's vitals and organs are unable to withstand the Earth's atmosphere. But, in the same gist of events, Gardner finds himself unable to let Earth and travel back to Mars as he cannot imagine life devoid of Tulsa.

For fans who have been avidly following news of the movie, they will need to watch the full film to learn whether the uncanny love story will bloom or wither away. Movie News Guide outlines another interesting aspect of the movie where Gardner sets off in search of his real father.

The lead stars featured on the film are Asa Butterfield and Britt Robertson. Gary Oldman as well as Carla Gugino take up lead roles in the movie. There are also multiple actors in sub lead roles that put together the movie.

The Genesis Director Tom Chen is played by none other than B. D. Wong from the film Jurassic World. On top of that, Scott Takeda plays as Dr. Gary Loh, Janet Montgomery plays Sarah Elliot, Adande Thorne depicts Scott Hubbard as last but not least Trey Tucker portrays the Harrison Lane character.
