Donald Trump Tweets US Should 'GET SMART' After Terror Attack At Paris Louvre

United States President Donald Trump is at it again. After a busy week of work as United States President that saw him making some controversial moves including signing an executive order that bans citizens and green card holders from seven Muslim-majority countries, Trump sounded off his opinion on the latest terror attack in Paris.

Donald Trump urged Americans to "get smart" after hearing about the latest terror attack in Paris, via a report from the Mail Online. A machete-wielding man attacked officers guarding the Louvre in Paris, France.

In his latest tweet, Donald Trump said a new Islamic terrorist just attacked the Louvre. Trump also added that the U.S. should get smart regarding terrorist attacks.

"A new radical Islamic terrorist has just attacked in Louvre Museum in Paris," Trump wrote. "Tourists were locked down. France on edge again. GET SMART."

Just recently, a man wielding a machete rushed toward a group of soldiers and guards at the Carrousel du Louvre, according to a report from CNN. The Carrousel du Louvre is located in the underground plaza adjoining the museum.

The machete-wielding man shouted "Allahu akbar" while rushing towards the soldiers and guards, according to Paris Police Chief Michel Cadot. The Arabic phrase translates to "God is greatest."

After the man was refused entry to the Louvre, he brought out his machete and started rushing towards the soldiers. The soldiers then fired five shots at the man. He was seriously injured by bullet wounds in the stomach and was taken to a Paris hospital for treatment. A soldier was also slightly injured on the scalp.

The Louvre attack has further strengthened Donald Trump's argument for the U.S. to double down on his administration's policy against terrorism. Trump has already put an immigration ban on 7 countries as part of his campaign against terrorism.
