The Samsung Gear Fit Pro could be in production and the fitness band might even include some innovative features as well.
There isn't any official announcement yet from Samsung about the arrival of the new fitness band, Samsung Gear Fit Pro. However, the tech conglomerate recently filed a trademark application and under the trademark name reads "Galaxy Fit Pro."
This suggests that consumers might be treated with an update in the latest Galaxy Fit range. As for what to expect from this new fitness tracker, the details are still quite scarce.
According to PhoneArena, the upcoming fitness band might come with a technology that Samsung teased three years ago. This cloud-based technology is called Simband health platform.
Simband health can monitor body temperature, heart rate and even oxygen levels. Since this technology was years ago, Samsung might have already implemented Simband health by now and it might just make its debut on the Galaxy Fit Pro.
Another feature that Samsung might include is the updated S Health mobile app. The updated version includes online doctor scheduling, a database to search for symptoms and much more, according to SlashGear.
The Korean tech giant recently added iOS support to its wearables line-up including the Samsung Gear Fit 2. This increases the versatility of Samsung's wearables in the current market.
With more companies such as Fitbit making their wearable devices iOS-friendly, Samsung might soon make this a regular feature in their upcoming smartwatch and fitness band product line.
If iOS support becomes Samsung's new trend in their Smartwatches and fitness trackers, then it is highly likely that the Gear Fit Pro will implement it as well.
Watch out for the Samsung Gear Fit Pro to pop up in future tech events. Who knows, Samsung might even start making surprise releases for the ever-expanding wearables market.
