The hunt is on for the much-needed reinforcements Lebron James wanted to play in his team. James repeatedly banged at the Cavs Management office urging the owners to do something before the slumping deepens. The team is now 7-8 on its games in January. The captain saw what is going on with his team and suggested the solution to the problem.
The beginning of the solution is now in process. The audition of whoever the team is compatible to playing the right Cav reinforcement. Sources said that one of the auditioning players will have the opportunity to sign the contract before the All-Star Game in the middle of the month, ABS-CBN News reported.
With the demands of reinforcements that James wanted and provided for by management, Charles Barkley, former NBA great turned sports commentator, is relentlessly poking James' camp with sharp tirades. He kept chiding James for being a whiner, unreal, and out of context. James snapped back by releasing the facts of Barkley's NBA stint and the negative repute that Barkley left with the Association.
Dwyane Wade backed James on this has his own rant for Barkley as well. But Bill Simmons would not let himself allow being left out from the word war. He also made some interesting comments calling James a crybaby, after praising him from head to foot, givemesport NBA reported.
There are three possible players eyed for the audition. Seasoned point guards like Mario Chalmers, Kirk Hinrich, and Lance Stephenson are on the list. They will try out and work it with the team. The lucky guy that blends well with the Cavs gets the job.
Free Agent Guard Mario Chalmers is from the Memphis Grizzlies. He has 8 years NBA experience in his sleeve. Kirk Hinrich is also a free agent coming from Atlanta Hawks with a 13 year NBA guard experience behind him. Or there's Lance Stephenson from New Orleans Pelicans bannering a six-year experience flagship, in a report by Rappler
Anyone of them could do the job as long as they blend with the rest of the Cavs.
