James Cameron has promise sequels for the famous film "Avatar." In fact, he confirms that "Avatar 2" is to start filming in the summer.
According to Game Spot, Cameron share that he will start to film the actors for "Avatar" by August of this year. He adds that his focus is not only for Avatar 2 but for 3, 4 and 5 as well. He also states that the scripts for the sequels are done and the films are to be developed at the same time.
Cameron has confirmed that filming will be in full by August. He will work for the film every day. Avatar 2 does not have an official air date yet, but Cameron has indicated that it will be ready by 2018. Aside from the sequels confirmed, Cameron also hints that all the sequel are to be filmed in glasses-free 3D.
Den of Geek indicates in a report that the stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Zaldana will both return for all the sequels of Avatar. Worthington continues with the film as Jake Sully and Zaldana as Neytiri. Stephen Lang also is signed up for the sequels. Lang portrays the role of Colonel Miles Quaritch. For Sigourney Weaver, she hints that she may be back on all four sequels as well.
Cameron hints that the story for "Avatar 2" follows Jake and Neytiri's story. This also includes their children. He adds that the story of the sequel is more of a family saga. It is living a family life with humans.
Meanwhile, Slash Films reported that James Cameron has been busy lately. Aside from the preparation on the production for "Avatar 2," he also is busy with a documentary titled "Atlantis Rising" which is produced by NatGeo.
Cameron is also working on the sixth franchise for the film "Terminator." Additional information for the "Avatar" sequels is that each story is different from the other. However, all the films are to have the same arc as the first one.
