'Tekken 7' Now Available For Pre-Download On Xbox One; Will It Be The Last Of The Series?

Gamers will have to wait for a while before they can get their hands on Tekken 7 when it releases on June 2, 2017. But that doesn't mean that fans cant prepare for the upcoming release as the game can be downloaded now.

Major Nelson reported Tekken 7 is now available for digital pre-order and pre-download on Xbox One. But as said earlier the game will not be released until June of 2017 so even if gamers pre-download the game, player will still be unable to play it until 12:01 am of June 2.

On the flipside, pre-purchasing and pre-downloading the game will save players the time of driving to the store to purchase and install the game. Besides that, players who pre-order will be treated to bonuses depending on the version of the game.

Players who pre-ordered the game will be given a free digital copy of Tekken 6 that can be played on the Xbox 360 or on the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. In addition, pre-oder bonuses for the the deluxe edition of Tekken 7 will include a limited time season pass as well as a digital copy of Tekken 6.

The Tekken series has been around for more than 20 years while Tekken 7 will be the first game for the current console generations. Tekken was one of the first games to be done in 3D and is one of the most popular fighting game franchises.

Tekken 7 will feature better graphics which is powered by Unreal Engine 4. According to bandainamcoent.com, the game has set a new benchmark for graphical fidelity which will push console and PC visuals to the limit.

Die-hard Tekken fans should be excited and at the same saddened by the speculations that Tekken 7 will be the last of the series. The latest game is said to end the 20 year saga of the Mishima clan along with other stories.
