Orlando Bloom to Leave Hollywood: Actor to Start Teaching in Manchester

It came to a surprise when the news broke out about Orlando Bloom swapping his career, the "Lord of the Rings" star is all set to teach drama to Manchester students. It turns out that Orlando signed up to teach a high school acting workshop in Manchester, and he will be teaching 11 year old students.

The star visited the Cheadle Hulme High School and he agreed to help them launch a new academy chain called the Laurus Trust. He will teach students the importance of voice in theater with focus on stage presence as per Lifestyle.

It seems like Orlando found something interesting to involve himself in teaching, the school will follow the Cicero Curriculum, which was created by Orlando's voice coach Patsy Rodenburg. However, the question of him leaving his career in Hollywood is still a mystery. Guessing that the star leaves behind his acting for teaching there are surely going to be many disappointed fans.

According to the Mirror, a representative for the teaching program stated that they want to get kids involved in acting for many reasons like boosting confidence, improving social skills and helping in job interviews.

There is no doubt about it that Orlando is an expert in acting, some of his honorable mentions are "The Pirates of the Caribbean" and "The Lord of the Rings" series. The English actor has flown over the UK from Los Angeles to start his teaching.

Two weeks ago Orlando celebrated his birthday with his girlfriend Katy Perry, the singer had given him a huge surprise in Palm Springs. Orlando 40 has been dating Katy 32, for quite some time. Orlando's upcoming movies "Unlocked" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" are believed to be out this year. Perhaps he actor might have wanted to take a break from in busy schedule as he volunteered to teach.
