"Mary Tyler Moore" dies at 80 years old on Wednesday in Greenwich, Conn. She has brought great performances as an actress in the 1960's to the 1970's.

Her representative, Mara Buxbaum, confirmed her death. She had been with the company of her husband, Dr. S. Robert Levine. Also with her were her close friends and other family members, according to a report in CNN.

The actress starred in a show from the 1970's title 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show.' She portrayed the role of Mary Richards who was a 30-year-old single woman and worked at a Minneapolis TV Station. However, the show that raised her to stardom has been the 'The Dick Van Dyke Show.'

It ran for five seasons and Mary Tyler Moore portrayed the role of the wife in the show named Laura Petrie. The show debuted in 1961 and the only one who fit the role then has been Mary Tyler. She also had been America's television sweetheart for two decades.

A report in NY Daily News indicates that she had become a symbol of feminism. Aside from being a good actress, she also has been a television producer. Her achievements as an actress include a seven-time Emmy Award winner.

Meanwhile, a report in The New York Times indicates that her death has been caused by a cardiopulmonary arrest right after she had contracted pneumonia. At the age of 80, she has done more shares in the entertainment industry.

"Mary Tyler Moore" made appearances on television at an early age. At 17 years old, she had been in a series of commercials for Hotpoint appliances. She has done the role of the Happy Hotpoint. The model appeared to be an elf in a cape and in body stockings who keeps on dancing. This has taken her a long way into the entertainment world.
