He was also instrumental in their Championship playoffs last year, which the Cavs won. Lebron asked for a point guard to assist him in plays, not a scoring forward like Carmelo. The Cavaliers need a seasoned point guard to execute plays for the team, and Carmelo Anthony is not the right guy for the post. Lebron and Carmelo are good friends.
