Governor Of Ohio Says Republicans Must Fix Obamacare Properly

By

The Governor of Ohio has a lot to say regarding Obamacare and what the Republican Party has to do about it. John R. Kasich has always been against Obamacare and felt like it should have been replaced a long time ago.

The Governor is quoted to have said 'Rather than shoving a bad law through Congress on party-line votes, Republicans can, and must, do better.' Now that the Congress and White House is in control of the Republicans, he feels that Republican fully have the means to initiate long-needed improvements to the national health care policies.

National health care has been in debate for far too long and Kasich believes that the changes brought about will go a long way in aiding the country's development - specifically in the manner with which they are enacted and pursued. Kasich has consistently opposed Obamacare and called for its replacement.

Market-driven and more conservative reforms that play a role in controlling health care costs is sought for by the Governor. Having been invited by the Republican leaders in Congress recently, he submitted plenty of recommendations for consideration which he hopes will "undo the harm caused by Obamacare."

He also said that the health care option was "expensive" and a "burdensome federal takeover of our health care system." According to Time, the Congressional Republicans have started making progress towards the repeal of Obamacare while Governor Kasich urges them to "avoid committing the same sins that the Democrats did" when the law was created.

The Governor assures that the fixing of the Obamacare health plan does not involve "ripping away" the health care coverage of the millions of Americans who have benefitted from this place since 2010. He is certain that there shall be a "responsible alternative" to replace the current plan.

Kasich is stated to have said that "There are simple solutions to improving our country's health care policy." Additionally, he said that Obamacare hurt not only the economy but also "divided the nation" and that it was an opportunity for the Republicans to "heal both."
