Traveling can be done in a myriad of different ways. Whether it's walking, jogging, running, taking a train, or taking a plane, traveling has many forms. However, it's not easy to travel, and one cannot so simply decide to just pick up their things and leave based on the sole reason of wanderlust. Traveling takes time, patience, and most importantly, money. While some people can be smart and thrifty when they backpack all over Europe and other countries of the world, some of us simply don't have the knowledge of deals or haggling prices. Fortunately, the opportunities for travel have broadened for many people, as getting their can cost as low as $69.
According to Refinery29.com, Wow Air has granted people on the west coast of America the opportunity of going to Europe for the low price of $69.99. However, flights to other places such as New York, Boston, Miami, and Pittsburgh are $99. The flights from California go to a selection of places in Europe, starting from San Francisco and having the passengers arrive in places like Copenhagen, Denmark; Stockholm, Sweden; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Bristol, England. Despite the controversy that has to do with Brexit and the U.K. leaving the European Union, the price to go to Bristol still remains the same for Wow Air.
Business Insider claims that the $69.99 fare is only available foe one-way flights between the dates of January 15 and April 5 of 2017. One of the reasons for such a grand discount is because Wow Air desires to stand out in the competition of other low-cost carriers. Apparently, Wow Air was able to beat Norwegian Air to the punch with this deal, seeing as how Norwegian Air decided to do the same thing when they receive their new Boeing 737MAX airliners. Because of its low cost of travel, Wow Air has decided to do away some of the amenities included in most tickets, including bottled water and increased cost for checked bags. Despite all of this, the opportunity for travel has now become much more afforable for many people interested in visiting Europe and all it has to offer.
