Kim Kardashian feels thankful and reassured now that the authorities have made multiple arrests regarding her robbery in Paris.
Kardashian and her husband Kanye West were recently spotted having dinner, and an eyewitness spoke to E! News, saying that the couple had been “in a good mood.”
When asked whether she felt “relieved” about her unfortunate Paris incident being effectively dealt with, the reality TV star said, “Yes.”
During Kardashian’s robbery in Paris, a gun was held towards her and her jewelry worth $11 million was stole; these included one of the diamond rings that was supposedly an “upgraded” version of the Lorraine Schwartz 20-carat diamond ring that her husband gave her for their engagement. Initially, the rapper proposed to Kardashian with a 15-carat ring in 2013.
Because French officials believe that the incident had been an inside job, the driver of her limousine during Kardashian’s robbery in Paris was arrested on Monday along with 16 other suspects.
According to the authorities who gave an official statement to the Associated Press on Tuesday, Kardashian’s driver Gary Madar and his older brother Michael had been employed in the same limousine company. Police officials believe that Gary should have known where the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star had gone during the night of the robbery. They also found that five of the arrested suspects have previous charges of burglary.
The authorities carried out arrests in several raids on Monday; suspects of Kardashian’s robbery in Paris included three women and were aged between 23 and 72. Police found weapons, including guns, along with almost $150,000 in cash during the raids.
Although Kardashian now feels relieved, she had been anxious and fearful in the past months, as she opened up about her experience on the latest season of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’
“They're going to shoot me in the back," she says as she tears up, referring to the robbery in Paris. "There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."
