CES To Showcase Highly-Anticipated Tech Architecture in 2017

It's safe to say that technology has helped a great deal of humanity. From medical to scientific and to entertainment, technology is certainly the edge that humanity has over all other life forms on this planet. With every new year brings a fresh start on the imagination of what is to come, and now that the holidays are over, people infatuated with the world of technology scour the corners of the internet to find information for one of the biggest events that happen every year: the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). For those of you who are craving to learn what 2017's technology is going to look like, this event is the place to be.

To simplify what's going to be at the show, The Straits Times gives a general rundown on the possibilities to be displayed. Ranging from PCs, cars, wearables and much more, the show is set to give a forecast of what will be coming out later this year. From January 5 to 8, Las Vegas will be swarming with over 165,000 attendees. The event exhibition area alone is an astonishing 2.4 million square feet, averaging out to about 40 football fields and is eight times larger than any of the IT shows that Singapore presents.

The Verge states that the best stuff at the CES is what's unexpected. As usual, TVs will make their appearance at the event with all the big players, namely Sony, LG, Samsung, and Panasonic. Ultra HD and 4k resolution TVs will definitely be making their best impression on the floor and countless other companies like Hisense, TCL, LeEco will be appearing to stand on the same stage as the other bigger players. While it is rumored that self-driving cars will also be everywhere, last year's hoverboards, scooters, and skateboards will be taking a step down. Though they will still be at the show, it will not be the most popular of technologies to be hummed about now that the hype for these things has tapered off.

Other things that will be making appearance are the VR headsets which were hyped up in 2016, drones and drone makers chasing after DJI, the current market leader of the drones, wireless audio technology which look to be taking the technological tide by storm, wearable technology that try to go beyond the wrist and on to different places of the body, PCs which have always held a staple in the CES, and Smart Home technology which slowly and steadily grows each year. With all these things being revealed to the world in 2017, we can say that technology never stops changing, and will continue to evolve year after year.
