Former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star James Marchese won't be facing any domestic violence charge over an alleged heated dispute with his wife that caused him to be ejected off an airplane in Los Angeles last month.
As noted by RealyTea, Marchese and his wife, Amber, were aboard a flight when the said altercation took place. The airline called the authorities when the 'RHONJ' star grabbed his wife's throat and made threats to harm her. Airline cops quickly responded and removed them out of the plane which led to Marchese's arrest.
"At the request of officers, a male suspect and a female victim left the aircraft. Additional questioning revealed the suspect had grabbed the victim by the throat and made threats against her," the Police shared with E! News. "Suspect James Marchese was arrested and transported to LAPD Pacific Division where he was booked." Jim was then charged with felony domestic violence on $50,000 bail.
Nonetheless, TMZ reported that his wife, Amber, immediately bailed him out. Outside the jail, Marchese claimed it was only a total misunderstanding. Sources close to the case revealed that the Los Angeles City Attorney is set to conduct an informal office hearing that will counsel the couple and help them sort things out to make sure incidents like that of the flight altercation will not happen again.
Jim reportedly promised to press charges against the airline and file litigation. "We were all [sleeping?] and having a good time on the plane and I guess Virgin Atlantic wants to take care of my kids' scholarship fund," the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star stated. While, the 46-year-old reality star seemed determined to do so, he gave no word yet to confirm whether he will push through with his legal plans.
James and Amber Marchese both starred on the sixth season of the popular reality TV franchise "Real Housewives of New Jersey".
