"The Girl Meets World" actress, Danielle Fishel have divorce her craft-beer salesman husband, Tim Belusko, without the awareness of the public. The sitcom star filed for divorced last year and finalized it last month this year.
According to the Daily Mail, the 35-year old actress quietly filed the court documents for divorce in October 2015 in Orange County, California and had it finalized on March 17. Fishel was married to Tim Belusko, 27-years old, for two years since they tied the knot in October 2013 in Los Angeles.
Two hundred guests were present at the ceremony including her co-star, Ben Savage in ABC sitcom, Girl Meets World and Boy Meets World show. The former couple first met when the actress was studying at California State University in Fullerton and while tutoring Belusko in his Math studies, TV Guide reported. They announced their engagement following more than three years of dating.
The reports of their divorce became known on Tuesday. The former child actress, who became famous for her role as Topanga Lawrence in Boy Meets World spoke to People regarding her "short and sweet" ceremony in 2013. "I was hesitant because he's seven years younger. But he's so mature. Now I just want to keep calling him husband. It's awesome. We're on the same team forever," People quoted.
Fishel, and her onscreen husband, Savage portray parents in "Girl Meets World" to Riley Mathews, played by 14-year-old Rowan Blanchard. The Disney Channel spin-off series premiered in June 2014 and was renewed in November 2015 for a third season.
Several other members of the Boy Meets World cast also have recurring roles or cameos in the Girl Meets World. Fishel previously dated former 'N Sync member Lance Bass from 1999 to 2000. She is also known for being the host of Style Network's The Dish. Fishel also appears in National Lampoon's Dorm Daze and its sequel, and was a spokesperson for Nutrisystem.
