Two teens, both 14-year old have been charged over the killings of a mother and daughter at their home in Spalding in UK. The bodies which were discovered on Friday have not been formally identified by the police.
Police's initial reports stated, the victims were believed to be Elizabeth Edwards, 49-years old and her daughter Katie, 13-years old, CNN News reported. The teenagers arrested are set to appear in Lincoln Magistrates Court Monday for trial.
Investigators are also conducting an inquiry, for anyone who was on the area or witness the crime from last week's, Wednesday to Friday. Detective Chief Inspector Martin Holvey said, autopsy examinations will be carried out, however, Holvey said he still need to inquire more information which might be connected to the investigations.
He added, uniformed officers will be around the Dawson Avenue area. "If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to talk to them," Holvey said. BBC News reported, neighbors of the victims claimed they last saw Ms. Edwards, who was a dinner lady at local primary school.
Graham Green, the victim's partner, posted a message on Facebook. "My babe has gone but you will always in my heart forever and ever and ever. The lady meant the world to me, she was my rock. Katie, so young, lots of good times in front of us been taken away r.i.p," Green wrote. A friend of Edward's daughter says, Katie have been like a sister.
Friends and family offered flowers and a stuff teddy bear in the victims' house front lawn as police are still conducting forensic investigations at the scene. Superintendent Paul Timmins said the incident has sent "great deal of local concern and upset" on the community, the Guardian reported.
"This is very much an active investigation that is in its early stages and police would like people not to speculate as to the circumstances surrounding it," Timmins added.
