Niantic's Pokemon Go has recently announced that Japanese territories will not be the only ones to feel the beauty of the augmented reality title. Australia and New Zealand were confirmed of having location or field testing for such, and showing players a glimpse of what is to be expected from the Pokemon game.

According to Droid Gamers, fans of The Pokemon Company have been excited in the past to hear what the augmented reality title of Niantic will bring forth, and as the prayers may have been heard, it was said that field tests for Australia and New Zealand were held. With it, some of the game's most prominent and affirmative features were detailed for the supporters' reference.

As per Christian Today, initially, fans are to start off choosing between three teams, in which said teams are to compete against other and eventually take control of city's gyms. Through it, gamers can contain their Pokemon in a safe gym or opt for a rival gym to verse for the control of the said gym upon victory. To make things more interesting, the gyms will be situated in real-world locations such as bakeries, video game establishments that extend their support to the game.

It was noted by Christian Post PokeMarts and PokeCenters are positioned in the real world similarly to those aforementioned. The whole orientation of Pokemon Go resembles that of Niantic's past work, Ingress, also identical to that of how players can track the Pokemon around their local areas and can be seen in the way that a GPRS works. Sadly, no other gameplay features were seen in the footage.

In the near future, fans expect to see more footages of the game's entirety, such as the battles, evolutions and trading mechanics. No release date was revealed for Pokemon Go yet as of the time being, but is affirmed of being launched before the year ends. Stay tuned for further updates.
