Lots of massive scenes are expected in 'iZombie' season 2 finale. As creator Rob Thomas puts it, the season 2 finale dwarfs the previous one. It will provide a resolution to the queries from previous episodes and will set the storyline for season 3.
'iZombie' season 2 finale is set to offer an epic show. The last episode will answer lots of question from previous episodes and will set the storyline for season 3. But the 1st part of the finale will see how Liv gets Major out of the prison.
As seen in the trailer, Liv visits Major in the prison. While she still has trust issues with Major, Liv has to get him out of the jail. From their conversation, Liv learns that Major is hungry. It is not good when the zombie is hungry for brain as it can cause the lives of other inmates.
Liv tries to ask for help from Ravi to get Major out of the prison. But Ravi gets arrested by FBI when authorities discover the evidences are linking him to 'Chaos Killer', which also points to Major.
While it is a hopeless cause for Liv, Blaine suddenly gets into the picture. He, along with an additional character named Brant Stone, helps Liv to get Major out. More than this, season 2 finale will also provide an answer to the question if Blaine is a hero or a villain. Seeing the trailer, Blaine might have decided already.
In the next part of the 2-hour finale episode, Peyton, Major and Detective Clive plan to surprise visit Vaughn DuClark's Super Max Rager party. Meanwhile, Blaine goes to Peyton for help but Ravi seems to disagree.
According to Thomas, the 'iZombie' season 2 finale will be epic. The episode dwarfs the 1st season's explosive finale. He adds that it is close to a traditional zombie movie as they have done. That also means that not all characters will survive in the finale and will be seen in season 3.
"Like last year, not everyone survives. That's for sure. I will say there will be blood," the creator said to TVGuide.
It is also speculated if Detective Clive will finally learn the truth about Liv after Malcom Goldwin's character heard the word 'zombies' in the last episode. As per Thomas, "He [Detective Clive] knows about missing brains and kids with their brains cut out. Clive's certainly the horse that's been lead to water, so it's the question of when and if he'll drink."
Rob Thomas' doppelganger, The Matchbox 20's lead singer and a co-developer of the series will also appear in 'iZombie' season 2 finale.
