Selena Gomez's recent post on Snapchat, showing a possible new song in the works, is seemingly not related to anything about her former boyfriend Justin Bieber. But news agencies have reported that the new song could in fact be about Bieber.
In a new video posted on Snapchat and reposted on Instagram, Gomez was seen singing to the lyrics that reads "Do you stay up late/ just so you don't dream?" she sang, as per the video posted on Selenasnapchats Instagram page.
The lyrics were vague and did not directly mention anything about her previous relationships, including her on again and off again relationship with "Sorry" singer, Bieber. However, Hollywood Life reported that it is highly possible that Gomez was singing for Bieber in the highly anticipated new song.
It seems that the rumors about the two won't rest even if Gomez and Bieber already ignored each other at the recent iHeart Radio Music Awards last week, as per the Inquisitr. According to the publication, upon arriving for their red carpet session, Bieber and ex-girlfriend Gomez crossed paths at one point but absolutely ignored each other, not a glimpse or a hug towards one another.
Furthermore, during Bieber's performance of his most recent hits, Gomez was nowhere to be found and was absent at the table where she was seen sitting with BFF Taylor Swift, who on the other hand was present for the performance.
But of course, Gomez was there to receive her Triple Threat award and was highly appreciative to no one but her fans. "Thank you so much for honestly, for listening. For buying music. This isn't ever my award. This is every person who is listening and watching. You're the reason I do what I do," Gomez was quoted, as per the news agency.
Despite all the seemingly evident actions towards each other, fans and other news outlets push for the hope that the two may get together someday, especially when the two have been getting back together even after a break up for years since their relationship ended in 2013.
Meanwhile, the news remain to be rumors, since both Gomez and Bieber have not directly spoken about each other for a while except for Bieber's recent Instagram post weeks ago posting a throwback kissing photo of himself with Gomez when they were a couple on Instagram.
There are still no recent updates regarding the background of Gomez's rumored latest music to confirm or deny if it is indeed about his former boyfriend, Bieber.
