The Philadelphia Police Department identified Mustafa Guyton, a 29-year-old, as a suspect in the October 2 beating of a blind man, the Philadelphia Police Department said, as reported by CNN.
Guyton has been accused of aggravated assault after kicking and stomping a 33-year-old blind man in Southwest Germantown, a neighborhood in Philadelphia.
The assault was caught on surveillance camera, which led up to the police department identifying Guyton as a suspect on Friday.
Philly.com had reported the victim was robbed in the process, and police say the victim suffered injuries to his head and face, as reported by CBS Philly.
The video appears to show at least three witnesses who did not make an attempt to intervene and stop the attack.
Tanya Little, the police spokesman said it was still not determined whether the mugger had known if the victim was blind.
The victim had told police he did not recognize the voice of the attacker, CNN also reported.
