Final Fantasy VII's Remake has certainly entered a new kind of hype since it was announced. However, not all of the contenders alongside it seemed to take the competition lightly. The community of Japanese role-playing games may be closing in on more factors that will make the Final Fantasy game run of its money.
As per Christian Times, Final Fantasy VII's Remake has ultimately given fans a reason to somewhat dread what is to become of it, since the developers announced that the said title will come in an episodic manner; one that some believe to be a financial gimmick. At least 3 discs will be distributed for the first game, however, a release date is yet to be bestowed for it and the remainder of the episodes.
According to Yibada, fans of the series may find that Final Fantasy VII's Remake is not be the only title to hit the gamers' fancy, as others like it will bring something good to the table especially for the Japanese community. Such titles include the relative Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts 3, Atlus' Persona 5 and Dragon Quest XI, all of which are powerful contenders at their own right.
In other Final Fantasy news, Gematsu reported that for the month of May, Final Fantasy XV will be the cover of Game Informer Magazine. It was during the recently held Uncovered event that Final Fantasy XV was announced of having a fixed release date set for the end of September.
Square Enix has stirred up quite a mass reaction from the crowds due to their unending promotions and events in which such games are featured. Final Fantasy VII's Remake is typically the most anticipated one to date, showcasing not just what the title can give, but also where the game stands against others of its kind.
