'Pirates of the Caribbean 5', otherwise known as 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales', is an upcoming follow-up to 2011's 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'. Paul McCartney of the Beatles is set to make a cameo in the upcoming film. Shooting for additional scenes will take place in April in Vancouver.

According to the Guardian, McCartney is set to make a cameo in the upcoming swashbuckler film starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Javier Bardem. McCartney is reportedly the second major musician to appear in the series, following the Rolling Stones' Keith Richards' cameo as Jack Sparrow's father in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' in 2007.

McCartney will be portraying a yet unnamed role. It was reported by IGN that the former Beatles member will not be involved in a re-shoot but instead will be part of an extra scene. Principal photography for the fifth film in the series had already wrapped but will be shooting additional scenes in Canada this April.

According to KFTV, filming for the extra sequences will take place in Vancouver until the second week of April under the working title 'Herschel Additional Photography'. Shoots will most likely take place in an indoor studio. Principal photography began exclusively in Australia in February 2015 and eventually ended in July of the same year.

Depp will be reprising his role for the fifth time as the main protagonist Captain Jack Sparrow. He is set to battle Bardem's Captain Salazar, the film's latest antagonist. Bloom will be returning as Will Turner / Davy Jones but will not be joined by series mainstay Keira Knightley. Instead, newcomers Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites have joined the new cast as female lead Carina Smyth and Henry Turner, respectively.

'Pirates of the Caribbean 5', otherwise known as 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales', is an upcoming action-adventure and comedy film by directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg. It will feature the return of Depp and Bloom into the Disney franchise. It is scheduled to be released on May 26, 2017.
