Gearbox's Battleborn is slowly and surely moving towards its release date during the second quarter of the year. For some, the title has massive promise and will continue to be the noted "badass" first-person shooter it wanted to be. Now, the reviews continue with one of the more intriguing characters of the title.
According to Game Spot, characters of the Gearbox title Battleborn have been noted of being quite interesting on their own right, with a diversity of skills and back stories to choose from. The game also released a new trailer entitled Battleborn: Live Together or Die Alone, in which a lot of the aforementioned characters made their presence felt. One other new video looks to make their presence felt with Benedict, the avian humanoid that stirs so much attention to the fans as of late.
As per PC Gamer, a recent Let's Play video showcases Benedict, one of the characters in Battleborn that is officially gifted with a slight advantage of flight. Despite the falcon-like appearance of Benedict, the character is only limited to a certain degree of aviation due to an injured left wing after exiting native planet, but still proves useful in combat. Benedict can still launch projectiles from above, and with a reliable sense of vision to utilize.
PC GamesN noted that his description from Gearbox states, "Brash and arrogant Benedict loves three things: himself, rockets, and himself. Though his left wing was crippled during the evacuation of his homeworld, Benedict is still capable of limited flight, raining down rockets from a high vantage point."
Battleborn is comprised of over two dozen characters excluding Benedict for the meantime, with no official word from Gearbox yet as to whether the roster will still be expanded in the near future. The game is scheduled to hit the PC come May 3rd according to Gearbox.
Keep posted for further updates on the massive online battle arena shooter known as Battleborn.
