Comedian Actor Katt Williams and a Teenager from Georgia Face Disorderly Conduct charge Following a Fight

Comedian actor-rapper Katt Williams and a teenager both faces charges after a fight on an apartment complex in Georgia. The fight occurred last week, though the fight was not filed as police report, a video footage and a witnesses led to charged the two.

According to ABC News, Katt Williams, 44 years old and Luke Wash, 17 were both charged with disorderly conduct following their fight last week, the Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said Monday. Wash, the teenager was charged as an adult over the said incident.

The incident was not reported to the police, however, the fight was filmed by several bystanders and through the witnesses who saw the incident, authorities came to press the charges against the two. "It's my understanding that Wash is in custody at the jail and we have made contact with Williams' attorney and it is our hopes and our understanding that he will be turning himself in," Holbrook said.

The video footage showed Williams throw a punch to the teen after a confrontation, while they were surrounded by onlookers. Just before the fight, the footage showed, with the teen eventually wrestling Williams to the ground, CBS News reported. The teen was also seen tackling Williams and forcing him into a restrictive headlock.

Drew Findings, Williams' representing lawyer said, Williams is doing a community service at the subsidized housing complex in Gainesville, northeast of Atlanta, Billboard reported. His client also said, he will resolve the case in an "orderly and professional way." It was also not known if the said teenager has a lawyer. Police said it was also not clear on exactly what the two had been arguing over.

Williams was charged with making threats, false imprisonment, aggravated assault and possession of marijuana after he threatened a bodyguard's life in early March. In another incident, Williams also was charged with battery on last month after a fight with a story employee, authorities have said.
