'Scream Queens' Season 2 premieres September 2016; Harry Styles casting rumors debunked

The official Twitter account of "Scream Queens" finally debunks the rumors that Harry Styles will be one of the 3 hunky doctors of Season 2 while Glen Powell, who plays the role of Chad Radwell, revealed a major teaser that the upcoming season will take place in a mental hospital. Also, FOX has released the official plot description of the premiere episode of the sophomore season.

The official Twitter account of "Scream Queens" finally debunks the rumors that One Direction band member Harry Styles has been cast for the sophomore season. Such rumors spread when the fans clamored during the PaleyFest press that they want Harry Styles to be a part of the show.

The whole cast also talked about who Harry Styles would be romantically linked if he will be cast for the upcoming season. These rumors stemmed due to the ongoing casting call for the 3 male doctors in the show's newest medical hospital set-up, Hollywood Life has cited.

With that being said, Glen Powell who recently reprised his role as Chad Radwell hinted a major teaser via Variety about the upcoming "Scream Queens" Season 2. The 27-year-old American actor, writer, producer and stuntman stated that show's set up graduates from the fictional Wallace University and will take place in a mental institution.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 1, International Business Times notes, "Scream Queens graduates from the college campus and into an all-new location, as a terrifyingly funny murder mystery will begin once again. This time, the show will be set in a hospital, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation."

"Scream Queens" Season 2 is expected to premiere around September of this year first and exclusive on FOX Network.

"Scream Queens" is an American TV series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan.
