Rumor has it that "Grimm" Season 5 might be the last installment to air on NBC. Such rumors stemmed since the viewership performance and household ratings of the series are not doing so well. According to TV Fanatic, the show's recent episodes maintained a poor average of 4.2 million viewers with 0.9 rating.

As for the official synopsis of episode 15, Spoilers Guide notes, "When Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) come across a beautiful young woman who seems to have aged 70 years overnight and died, they suspect Wesen involvement. The investigation leads to a local doctor and Rosalee Calvert (Bree Turner) is enlisted to help find the truth. Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) takes bold steps to learn more about Captain Sean Renard's (Sasha Roiz) nefarious dealings."
