Niantic and The Pokemon Company's Pokemon GO continues to become one of the most highly-awaited games for mobile phones recently. Truth be told, the promise of the said game is quite a big one to attend to, and though only very few information was known about it, an online post may be the push that gamers need in order to completely lock the fans' attention.
According to N4BB, Pokemon GO does not have a solid release date yet for the time being, but is cordially expected to arrive within the year. Lately, the most captivating bit of news that fans have grown to like is the post by YouTube user Eric F which was shot directly from the presentation of Niantic CEO John Hanke at SXSW. Though John Hanke was not visually present in the video, the voice behind the footage is presumably his.
As per Game Spot, it did not take long for the said clip to generate nearly 800,000 views and still does, even with the footage being a mere mobile phone capture. Running roughly for only over a minute and thirteen seconds, the footage shows the augmented reality gameplay as promised; in which Bulbasaur's second evolution, Ivysaur, can be seen trying to somewhat evade a PokeBall being thrown at it. It was also seen that a variety of PokeBalls will be utilizable as pleased.
At the end of the clip, Ivysaur was captured and gamers are provided the current statistics of the wild Pokemon. From there, fans continued to be astonished with the blend of in-game graphics, as well as the combination of such to the real surroundings, as noted by Comic Book.
Pokemon GO will be made available to Android and iOS devices for free. However, an additional yet optional device known as Pokemon GO Plus will serve as a smartwatch which the gamers can also use to capture Pokemon, connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth. There will be in-app purchases for the game despite the fact that it will be made free.
